Calling all school leaders in Malaysia!

Open Dialogue; Collaboration opportunities for Penang with Finland education

No standardised tests, no private schools, no stress. Less homework, more out of the classroom activities, more digital learning tools. Joy of learning, wellbeing and fun learning to improve learning results. These are buzzwords of Finnish education you are most likely familiar with already…  Now we will discuss how schools in Malaysia can benefit from the Finnish Experience.

We would like to see principals, headmasters, headmistresses, head teachers, academic directors… any members of the school leadership team, at any level of education, from preschool to higher education and corporate training to join this dialogue. Let’s dig in and find out together what we can learn from Finland and what we can do together to boost the prosperity of Penang.

H.E. Ambassador of Finland to Malaysia will be on hand to present his opening remarks. Mr. Petri, CEO of Finnish Education Solutions Sdn Bhd and Mr. Vesa Perälä, chairman of the steering group on Education Finland will also have a panel discussion with local Penang education leaders. You in the audience can have your voice heard as we will collect questions from the audience.

We are urging all the participants to think outside of their silos. Learning future skills is a holistic development experience and will only be possible in cross border collaboration between all stakeholders.

We are also showcasing Finnish edtech solutions and learning content demo booths with the Finnish specialists demonstrating the solutions (due to travel restrictions the demonstrators will be presenting online at the booth).
